China criticized India's
proposal to convene the G-20 summit in Indian Illegally Occupied Jammu and
Kashmir (IIOJ) and urged the group's members to concentrate on the global
economy's recovery rather than politicking the pertinent issue on Thursday.
The Kashmir conflict
between Pakistan and India should be appropriately settled in accordance with
the pertinent United Nations resolutions and bilateral agreements, according to
Zhao Lijian, spokesman for the Chinese Foreign Ministry, in his weekly
briefing.
"China is having clear
and consistent attitude on Kashmir. In response to a query, Zhao stated that
the problem is one that India and Pakistan have had for a long time. "Related
parties should need to refrain from unilaterally exacerbating the issue,"
he continued.
According to the Indian
media, New Delhi had already instructed the local authorities to make the
appropriate plans as it planned to host the G-20 sessions in IIOJK in 2023.

the importance of resolving the conflicts through discussion and consultation.
He said that the G-20 was
the best forum for promoting global economic cooperation. In order to
contribute favorably to enhancing the global economic governance, he urged the
pertinent parties to concentrate on economic recovery and refrain from
politicking the matter.
As it planned to host the
